Hydraulic Auto Belay System

Vertical Reality offers a cost-effective solution to safe climbing for your climbing wall using our long-established Hydraulic Auto-Belay system. The constant tension whilst climbing, and the slow rate of descent, builds confidence in climbers young and old. This self-contained unit can be installed for fixed walls or on mobile climbing walls. The unique design allows the system to be adapted to any height of wall (standard unit ~7.3m). 
Hydraulic Auto-Belay is the ideal Replacement for the REDPOINT system and doubles-up on safety by providing inbuilt redundancy with 2 belay cylinders, fitted with check valves, as standard per climbing route. A hydraulic pressurised tank, with integral pressure gauge, is connected to the belays by 
300psi high pressure hoses. This system has been in use on VERTICAL REALITY climbing walls since 1993 and has a safety record second to none. In addition to the sale of climbing products to our many satisfied customers, Vertical Reality are operators of mobile climbing walls and have attended 1000’s of events. Our Hydraulic Auto-Belays have been thoroughly tried and tested over the years and continue to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
The complete twin-cylinder safety system is mounted on a framework which can be bolted or welded in place. All equipment is manufactured in the US and is supplied ready for installation. Additional fabrication may be required to enable fitting to your specific mobile or static climbing wall. The system utilises a 6mm galvanised steel cable (breaking strain ≥1994kg) fitted with swivel and wide-gate self-locking karabiner and guided to the climbing station via pulleys and top davit arm. With their robust construction and design, these units require minimal maintenance thereby offering further cost savings over alternative systems.
